I hope all is well. Here is a nail of the day. Featuring Essie’s Lady like, it’s an elegant soft mauve. It retails for about $8.00. I have seen this color on several people and it tends to look different on other skin colors but it is a beautiful color regardless.
Here I applied two coats of Essie’s Lady Like and topped with a base coat.

January Glam Bag
Earlier this week I made an order on Amazon for a few things and today I was waiting around for the UPS truck to come around and my dog heard someone at the door and it was the mailman. In the mail was my very first Glam Bag. What an amazing surprise I wasn’t even expecting it and about an hour later my Amazon package came.
Youtube beauty guru Michelle Phan created MyGlam. MyGlam is a new Monthly glam bag full of beauty products from brands like Urban Decay, Tarte Cosmetics, NYX Coesmetics, Mai Couture and many more. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using for only $10 a month. I missed the December glam bag by one day I tried to order it the 2nd and your billed every 1st of each month. You have the option of a monthly subscription of $10 or the yearly subscription option of $110, shipping is included. Here is January’s Glam Bag!
This year’s first Glam Bag is full of products brands that are good for the planet and are good for you. The theme of this month is Back to Nature. The bag includes products from Freeman, Sheer Cover, Wen and the Balm. The only brand I am familiar with this month is the Balm. I discovered the Balm this summer, I have trio palette that includes a bronzer (Bahama Mama), Shadow/Blush (Hot Mama) and power (Sexy Mama). I also own Bahama Mama Bronzer and the blush Down Boy.
From the Balm, I received an eye shadow (Shameless Shana) from the Shady Lady Cheetah Palette. This eye shadow is a bronze shimmery shadow and it is very pigmented. It is a very beautiful color and I cannot wait to try it out
From Freeman, I received a Facial Peel-Off Mask, Cucumber, Skin Silkening. It is made with natural, botanical ingredients, new Freeman Feeling Beautiful is a full range of skin and body care products to help you look and feel your best. This mask gently peels away impurities while Cucumber extract leaves your skin smooth and silky. I did get to try this product out and I really how it leaves my face feeling soft and clean. This product’s texture is thick, clear and glue like, it dries clear on the skin, it gives a slight tingle to the skin and after 5 to 10 minutes gently peel off masque and rinse with warm water. It reminds me of when I was a child, and I use to put glue on the back of my hand and peel it off.
From Wen, I received a Cleansing Conditioner. Wen is a single step Cleansing Conditioner with natural ingredients. The most important thing about Wen is a 5-in-1 formula, this one product takes the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner. It cleanses hair thoroughly but without lathering and all the harsh ingredients that may be found in ordinary shampoos—it is designed so it won’t strip your hair and scalp of their natural oils. Your hair is left with sheen, moisture, manageability and better color retention. It can be used for straight, wavy, curly, color treated or ethnic hair! I absolutely love this product, it made my hair look healthy clean and full!
From Sheer, I received Cover Duo Concealer in light/medium. It’s a creamy dual shade concealer that can be custom blended to create the perfect shade for your skin tone. The Sheer Cover Duo concealer instantly conceals blemishes, scars, dark spots, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone for a flawless, natural look. I’m not that impressed with concealer but that might just be because it is does not match my skin color but it’s a fairly good concealer.
After the month wait for the bag, I am happy with the company and the products. I do believe its worth the $10 and customer service is wonderful !
